A child of Yemen's civil unrest, Jabir's powers manifested during a bomb raid that destroyed his family home, his parents and sisters inside. From there, he was picked by The Antfarm, a covert American operation with the singular goal of which was to create human superweapons. There are holes in Jabir's education. He knows how to kill a man with his bare hands. Other subjects were neglected. Experiments were conducted on Jabir in an attempt to control him as an asset. In the end, these were unsuccessful, and only reliably produced debilitating migraines and a simmering distrust of authority.

Travelers are an exceedingly rare sort of warlock born once every generation, in families lucky enough to be blessed with the right genetics. While all telemancers are telepaths, not all telepaths are telemancers. Learning to teleport is a dangerous prospect. Not many travelers survive until adulthood. Adult travelers tend to have a certain personality type: stubborn, tenacious, and valuing their own freedom above all else.

Like most telepaths, using overusing this ability can make him sick. He prefers the company of people whose minds have powerful wards. ]

TELEMANCY ▲ [ Telemancers specialize in magic across distance. Jabir is able to teleport. He is also able to open portals across material and temporal planes. Well placed portals can be used as weapons. Stimulants enhance this ability. ]

Jabir loves music. He is hardly ever seen without headphones. Most of his psychic wards are acoustic in nature. They might leak, causing aural hallucinations in those near him, when he practices telepathy or telemancy, when he casts beacons, or when he is angry, annoyed, or just plain tired. This is a small sampling of what might be heard in Jabir's proximity.
